Today was a warm day. Ryan and I went shopping and bought some stuff and came home and I decided I needed to paint our bedroom. So after I talked Ryan into it I asked him to help me with specific things and I told him I would do all the painting.....so I chose the colors and we got home and Ryan started taping so I could paint. Well I started painting (which Ryan agreed upon) and I turned around and Ryan was helping me paint, so I knew he couldn't resist helping paint our room. He is an excellent painter!! :)
That's right Grandpa Larry, Ryan let me paint for the first time, not just primer! I was very excited, but it really is a lot of work. We do have to do another coat in the morning and finish the walls. It should be done by Sunday, I hope. Depending on how good of a job of painting I do, I think I'll be ready to help paint downstairs!?
Tonight Patrick had Basketball practice, and even though his team hasn't won a game yet, he is a great player and sport! He was so excited to go to practice he put his clothes on 3 hours early tonight! We love him-he does some funny stuff sometimes. He must get his funny personality from his Dad:)

Painting??? I have done enough of that for a while. I am sure that the next bug will bite me and then hold on! What color did you paint in there? And did you take pics for us to see??? Luvya cuz!

That's good to hear you are so excited to paint. Did you use the conventional cross stroke or some other version to apply the paint? As soon as you get to the professional level, I'll hire you to do my painting.......... Oh by the way.......how much paint did you get on the wall vs yourself? See you later.........LB
